Coastal Montessori Charter School is pleased to welcome two (2) new staff members to our Stingray family!
Ms. Caroline Hoppe is joining the staff as our middle school math teacher. Ms. Caroline brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise to our team. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Clemson University, and her teacher certification is from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte; she also has certification in Middle Level Mathematics. In addition to teaching mathematics in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ms. Caroline more recently served as a teacher, executive assistant, and director of the middle school program at Lowcountry Preparatory School in Pawleys Island.
According to Dr. Nicastro, Director of CMCS, “Ms. Caroline’s enthusiasm, positive attitude, and experience teaching middle school mathematics, are significant factors in the value she brings to our program.”
“A positive environment, sense of community, and welcoming staff members were all evident as soon as I stepped into the building. CMCS is a special place, and I’m excited to join the team,” said Ms. Hoppe.
CMCS is also pleased to welcome Ms. Jolynn Sifford as a teaching assistant in the upper elementary; she will be joining Ms. Sarah Wilson’s classroom. Ms. Jolynn has a degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in early childhood education. Priorto moving to South Carolina, Ms. Jolynn was a classroom teacher in Missouri. More recently, Ms. Jolynn worked as a teacher at Pawleys Island Christian Academy.
According to Dr. Nicastro, Director of CMCS, “Our interview team was impressed with Ms. Jolynn’s educational background, classroom experience, and positive demeanor. We see her as a fantastic addition to the CMCS staff.”
Ms. Jolynn said, “I am thankful for the opportunity to join CMCS. I always heard that it was a wonderful place, and that was confirmed after meeting with their team.”
