Today we brainstormed for our first overnight field experience. We are still working out some details, but we ask that if you own a tent, you try to find all the pieces and gather some of the needed gear before next Thursday morning (10/5). Drop off will be at Huntington Beach between 7:30-8:15am that morning. We are packing lunches, but making dinner in large groups (15-17 people per group! Walking tacos and hotdogs seem to be the hit items). We will figure out who is bringing what food items early next week. If you need to pick up your scholar for any reason during the trip, please call Ms Liz’s cell phone so she can let you know our location at that time (843-235-1203). Pick up will be Friday afternoon (10/6) between 2:30-3pm. Students will NOT need to report back to school that afternoon. 😉
Please send in any questions with your child on Monday morning, and we will discuss them as a class! More info is on its way! This is a student-planned event, so there are still variables we are discussing.
