Last Thursday we had a wonderful and successful Wax Museum! The students enjoyed portraying the person they had researched and the other students from the rest of the school loved watching and listening to them. Each one of our students learned so much through this research. It was so fun to watch as they took on the persona of different inventors, activists, athletes, and presidents (to name a few).
This week we started planting our spartina seeds. The seeds were planted in cups and were placed in our greenhouse where they will continue to mature. We have so many seedlings that we ran out of room in our bins! If anyone has unused storage bins in the garage or attic, like the kind that would fit under a bed, we would be happy to accept donations!
