That’s Debatable: Middle School Takes the Podium

Our CMCS Middle School students accepted the challenge and rose to the occasion; seventh graders not only learned about credible research sources and how to cite them correctly, but also they studied the parliamentary debate method using small teams and tons of group collaboration. Tuesday morning, students went head to head to see which team presented the most convincing argument either for or against GMOs  (Genetically Modified Organisms). Congrats to the winning team on a job well done!

Students also traveled to Pawleys Island Montessori School to do crafts with the primary students enrolled there. All middle school students helped the little ones attach their fins and create these cool fish decorations.

Clemson is just around the corner and so are the Willie Wonka and Kayaking trips off campus. Make sure you return permission forms promptly!
