SCHOOL HOURS AND ADDRESS
- START TIME: 8 a.m.
- END TIME: 3 p.m.
- New School Address: 111 Old Plantation Drive, Pawleys Island, SC 29585
Carpool begins at 3 p.m., line-up can begin no earlier than 2:45 p.m. There will be no parking and walk-ups; all must use the carpool line. All cars will enter through our entrance on Barony Place (the Allston Plantation entrance), south of the school; NOT Old Plantation Drive. Cars will exit the school on Old Plantation Drive. There will be plenty of staff on site to help direct traffic.
This process is designed to make afternoon carpool calm and safe by keeping students in the classroom until parents come through our entrance on Barony Place. At this time the student’s placard number will be communicated to the appropriate teacher and the student will be released to walk down the hallway to the front door of the school. Our goal is to pace this process so that as students come out of the building they are immediately loaded into vehicles, eliminating the need to wait outside.
The latest time a student may be picked up for medical appointments, after-school activities, etc. is 2:25 p.m.
The Parking Lot will be closed at 2:30 p.m.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
After School Enrichment and other after-school programs:
- Begin at 3:15 p.m.
- End at 4:30 p.m.
All pickup from after school activities such as After School Enrichment, ArtStudio and MakerStudio Sessions, Mad Science, Kicks Tae Kwon Do, etc. will take place in the bus loop on the side of the building next to the Grand Hall, by Old Plantation Drive. All students will be released from the Grand Hall.

UNIFORMS AND DRESS CODE
It is our school policy that all elementary students wear a CMCS school uniform when attending school. Our policy is designed with health and safety in mind. We believe that a school uniform:
- promotes a sense of pride in the school while creating a sense of belonging and community
- identifies our students with CMCS (particularly on school field trips)
- is practical, affordable and helps level the socioeconomic “playing field” while still allowing for self-expression
View the complete policy with uniform items and vendors here.
Please note: gently used uniforms are available at significantly reduced pricing.
VERY IMPORTANT: Purchasing uniforms will never be a barrier to attending our school. If purchasing uniforms is creating a financial burden for you, please contact the CMCS office immediately at 843-235-0413.
Middle School Dress Code
Our CMCS Adolescent Community has its own unique dress code that differs from our Elementary Program. View the Middle School Dress Code.
