Middle School Art I

The past few weeks Middle School Art I students have been exploring shading, with both graphite pencils and paint.  With their graphite pencils, they worked on graduated, linear, cross-hatch and stipple techniques and with paint, they developed tint and shade of a single color.

These skills are now being applied to still life studies of pumpkins, in both graphite and paint.
