Middle School Adventures and Activities

Our Middle School students and staff say goodbye to Nate–We miss you!

March 2017

Hello All,

Our CMCS Middle School students and teachers have been initiating and experiencing so many incredible components of the Montessori educational theory this year; we want to take this time to showcase some of our exciting events while looking back over the past few months’ adventures.  Since our return after the holiday break, we have been integrating our curriculum as well as studying all about nature and our purpose in our world via our conservation/recycling activities, exploration of real-world business concepts, and community service outreach sessions as evidenced by our help at the Montessori School of Pawleys Island and The Lakes at Litchfield.  We anticipate our upcoming trip to Clemson University which will include an integrated study of all content areas during the day (with special focus on crime scene investigation in the CU science labs) and featuring a Miles Davis tribute concert and a Tigers baseball game in the evenings. More to pictures to come soon!

Here are some highlights from our activities in and out of school walls:

STEAM fest! Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math; CMCS performed an original play for large crowds.
