Mercom Gives CMCS $50,000

At a recent picnic at company headquarters, CMCS families and staff celebrated the generous $50,000 donation to the CMCS Capital Campaign by the Mercado families who head up Mercom Corporation. Larry and Stella Mercado are the dynamic, brother-and-sister duo who started and operate the technology firm, a shining economical development star in Georgetown County. Stella, Mercom’s CEO and CMCS board member, told the crowd how she and Larry learned from an early age the importance of giving back and stressed the importance of investing in education.
