Finding Inspiration from Paul Klee

Lower Elementary students have continued to explore artist Paul Klee’s art.  Second and third grade artist created a piece titled “Biography Art” in which they wrote a few sentences about the artist to create a piece inspired by Once Emerged from the Gray of Night – Paul Klee.  In creating their pieces, students explored color using liquid watercolor.  A limited pallet of primary colors, allowed the artist to understand the process of creating secondary colors, by mixing two primary colors.

Please check out the finished pieces in our Artsonia online gallery.
