Digital Arts in the ARTStudio

Thanks to a thoughtful sixth grade parent and the incredible resources available through the Georgetown Library system, CMCS sixth grade students have the opportunity to explore video production.  Each Friday afternoon, these students will meet with an expert in the field of video production and get hands-on practice in basic camera operation and shot elements, and work with audio equipment, lighting, and green screens. They are also planning on doing some script writing work with the students performing in their own productions.

Friday was the first meeting of this club and they jumped right in learning how to operate the cameras, mics and work in crews to shoot a man on the street interview.
