Most elementary students learn about computers. They learn how to use word processing software, spreadsheets, websites and even Power Point. Computer usage is a part of everyday life, but Ms. Amy’s lower elementary students were lucky enough this week to see computers from a whole new perspective!
Ms. Sarah’s husband, Mr. Aaron, visited the classroom with an old computer. They dove right in and learned all about how a computer is made and how the different parts work together to make the computer function! They even learned the names for all of the parts inside of a computer. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amy are keeping the computer available within the classroom and are creating nomenclature cards to help the scholars learn and remember what all of the parts are called. Just another fun learning experience at CMCS!
