Last Thursday was the 100th day of school. We had a great time celebrating with some fun activities. First, we used an aging app. to make the students look like they were 100 years old. Each student wrote a journal entry from the point of view of their 100 year old self. It was very interesting to read about how the children see their lives in the future. They discussed their accomplishments, families, and occupations. Next, the students were put into teams according to grade level and accepted the 100 cup challenge. Each group was asked to create a structure using all of the cups. The team to construct the tallest structure wins. They all did a fantastic job, but the 5th years won! All of the students worked together as a team and it was great to see them collaborate. Here are some pictures of the fun!
